Between the man and the ape one thing that is a comman feature is the lower jaw. To me a ape can represents a cunning while also a inteligent animal. That can walk on two feet and use their hands and arms almost as good as humans.

Between the lion and the man there are several similar physical traits. Some that stick out right away are the thick laid back hair on the man that matches the lion's mane. Another feature is the strong protruding eyes. His strong eyes can represent the pride and predator within the lion.  

Gone Hunting

O why weren't you home my dirty young son?

I was skipping school and playing Hooke.

O what did you do instead of learning?

I was up early and going hunting.

I was tracking the big one across the prairie.

O why do you track it across the prairie?

To get us some meat for the cold winter.

I was skinning the deer so i could be done.

O why do u skin the deer so fast?

So i can warm up in the house.

  

In "The Unquiet Grave", one thing that i would ask about is why the lover would only morn for one year and a day? To me this seems as though that is a short time to mourn. I think that he should remember her forever and and not have a certain amount of time to mourn. I dont belive that a person should have to beat themselves up over a death of aloved one but i dont think one should just forget them.

While these two ballads both depict a lover's dead body that has been buried. while the lover's partner mourns the death by sitting on top of the grave and wanting for one more cold clay like kiss.  they also are comman in the way that they both wait one year and a day before they stop morning. while these two poems are similar they also have some diffrances. One diffrance is the fact that in the origianal a women dies and the man monrs, but in the more modern version the man dies and the women morns. this is inportant because it shows that both men and women can morn the same way.
